As promised via Facebook, I blasted MPR’s The Daily Circuit. I never go back on a promise I make on Facebook. In response to strong criticisms here>> and here>> of this poorly planned, trite show, The Daily Circuit has posted this on their blog. Please take the time to make a comment. Among the few comments posted, adoptees are making articulate, elegant arguments as to why MPR failed in their presentation. However, the comment of one Kevin Ost-Vollmers has yet to be posted. Just in case they really do censor his comment, here it is: Meggan, My name is Kevin Ost-Vollmers. I’m the adoptee who called in yesterday. What your two guests from LSS/CHSFS may not have told you is that I worked for both agencies in my past life recruiting adoptive parents. I was at both agencies during the “good times.” In fact, I helped CHSFS merge with CHSFS East, formally known as the Adoption Service Information Agency. I have three thoughts that I’d like to offer.
